CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

As a member of Team Sullivan, you’ll help deliver a comprehensive menu of services and resources, including architecture, engineering, interior design and self-performed construction, from concept (planning and design) through completion (construction and occupancy).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Project Managers perform these functions:

· Work closely with in-house design staff to develop budgets from conceptual plans

· Prepare detailed and conceptual estimates for design-build projects, along with plan and spec bidding

· Estimate self-performed work in areas of demolition, concrete, carpentry and ironwork

· Develop scopes of work, solicit bids, negotiate with subcontractors and issue purchase orders

· Develop and manage general schedules and budgets for concurrent projects

· Manage daily specific project activities ensuring deadlines, schedules and budgets are met

· Maintains accurate project records and documentation related to contracts, purchase orders, change orders and RFIs

· Manage financial aspects of each project from estimating to close-out

· Communicates effectively with owners, subcontractors, superintendents, suppliers and other team members

· Organize fluctuating work priorities to ensure efficient use of time and company resources

· Keep computer skills sharp and current to best utilized company provided programs and software

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants for the Project Manager positions should have:

· Minimum of three years of experience as a project manager

· Education in construction, engineering, architecture or related field

· Experience or willingness and ability to learn: Microsoft Suite,

Viewpoint Vista, PlanGrid, Bluebeam

· Excellent problem-solving abilities
